3rd Annual MSE Investor Education Conference

The Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) has once again organised a successful educational event aimed at the Maltese small investor. The conference was addressed by various experts and practitioners who spoke about the most common mistakes investors do and how they can be avoided. Other topics discussed were the power of re-investing dividends, the use and relevance of financial ratios, and the role of the financial arbiter. The conference was inaugurated by the Minister for Finance, Prof Edward Scicluna, who stressed the importance of financial literacy and education in enabling investors to make well informed decisions about their investments.

In conclusion, the Chairman of the Malta Stock Exchange, Mr Joseph Portelli, emphasised the Exchange’s commitment to further develop the Maltese capital market for the benefit of the many Maltese investors, other stakeholders and the Maltese economy as a whole.
